Southwestern Advantage had the privilege once again this year to take part in the TODAY Show’s annual Holiday Toy Drive. This was Southwestern’s 7th year to participate. Former Southwestern Dealer, and now Southwestern’s current Online Product Manager, Haley Price appeared on this morning’s program with Al Roker, Natalie Morales, and Savannah Guthrie to explain our company’s donation of over $1 million in educational software games to the 18th annual toy drive.

2010 marks the 17th Annual TODAY Show Holiday Toy and Gift Drive.  This year, through the Direct Selling Association (DSA), 41 direct selling companies donated more than $16.5 million worth of product, gifts, services and cash to the cause.  In the seven years of participation, DSA member companies have donated over $70 million.

The donation was made possible through Southwestern’s affiliation with the Direct Selling Association, and was part of our ‘Share The Advantage‘ philanthropic program.

In 2010, Southwestern Advantage President Dan Moore appeared on the TODAY Show, donating 6,031 CD-ROM bundles with a retail value of $602,798. This year we were excited to nearly double our annual gift and surpass the $1 million mark.
